Day 6 - Waldport Sandcastles

Heaven help us - Russ has found the window wash attachment for the hose. He says he's clearing the windows for the Timeless project - but we know this is really just fun for boys.

Homes in the Sandcastles area float in a giant erg. The dunes are patient. The dunes always win.

Emma wonders why anybody would fight against the unbeaten and untied dunes.

Getting into your garage is just half the problem. By tomorrow, getting out might require divine intervention.

The newest model for separating tourists from their money on the Oregon Coast.

Emma is angered that we neglected to bring the ball out on the beach. Never anger the Sock.

Seems that elaborate beach hut building has become "a thing" out here.

This beach hut is small. But at least it has insulation.

Today's Mystery Flotsam. Yes, it's tiny.

Two women and a chihuahua.

Just below our house, the tourists find the tidepools irresistible. This one has a spade. The waves are watching. And waiting.
